With W Arachis The plants of Arachis (tried on March 16th) had 7 stems or 6 & of the 22 free leaves 5 were injured & all 5 were on the two stems, bearing the 4 leaves which were pinned to cork-supports & thus kept motionless. —

With Oxalis carnosa — all (March 16) all the 7 free injured leaves were on formed part of same bran cluster of leaves of which some had been pinned to cork
