Bornet of Antibes. 10 flowers crossed with pollen from distinct plant produced 7 fine capsules, all containing hundreds of seeds. 15 fl. fert. with own pollen, produced 10 capsules, but 5 of these may be almost rejected, for they contained only from 1 to 7 good seeds— of the 5 moderately good capsules, 4 contain 1 alone equalled one of the better but not best capsules of crossed plants, the 4 others containing only
