A NEW WORK.─ The author of "The Origin of Species," and "The Descent of Man," ─ works that have stirred up no little commotion in the world of ideas [illeg the origin] of the race─ Charles Darwin, is out with a new work, entitled The Effects of Cross and Self-Fertilisation in the Vegetable Kingdom."
