FERTILIZATION IN THE ANIMAL KINGDOM.5— The value of this work will be perceived when we state that it details observations made by Mr. Darwin during a period of nearly forty years. The analogical faculty of the writer was never displayed to greater advantage, and Mr. Darwin may be said to have opened up a completely new vein of research.
