Trop. tricolorum azureum April 4th 1864.
Shoot formerly observed proceeded from bulb, present shoots on top of plant 2 ft high. This day revolved with sun. Shoot observed made 2 first circles at average of 1° 38', 3rd circle in 1° 57' —
4th — in 1° 55' 1°. 49'. 2 loops of thread 10 & 5 in. (viz. .25g & (.125 gr) both acted.
A single thin twig on young peduncles twice caused perceptible curvature movement in 5' & once in 6'.
One of former peds was considerably curved in 8' at rt angles in 15' & became straight again in 4° or 5°. Peds. move in any direction when touched.
