This contains a frontispiece of "Beagle" from a photograph of a drawing known to be by John Clements Wickham with certain technical errors made by the engraver; no indication that it is by Wickham; whereabouts of original and redraw are not known: also present in later reprints up to 1912; copies at LNH and OB - Lois Darling, Mariner's Mirror 1983, Sea History 1984.
