NEW BOOKS.

A want of space compels us to be more brief in our notice of books than we would otherwise choose. We will find more room in our next.

Harper & Brothers have sent us since our last—

DARWIN'S VOYAGES OF A NATURALIST, being the tenth and eleventh numbers of the "New Miscellany." As the title says, it is a journal of researches into the natural history and geology of the countries visited during the voyage of the H.M.S. Beagle round the world, under the command of Captain Fitz Roy, R.N. By Charles Darwin, M.A., F.R.S. It contains a vast fund of information and instruction, and forms a valuable addition to the "Miscellany."
