Over DARWIN's Expression of Emotions heh ik reeds voorcenigen tijd enkele opmerkingen in dit tijdschrift medegedeeld (No 3), en veroorloof mij hier daanaar te verwijzen. Het is te hopen dat de nederlandsche bewerking van dit hoogstinteretisnnte, boek den kring ,van lezers daarvan belangrijk zal uitbreiden. De vertaling is als zeer goed geslaagd te beschouwen en onder de door den vertaler bijgevoegde aanteekeningen komen een aantal zeer lezenswaardige ophelderingen voor.

Regarding Darwin's Expression of Emotions I made some remarks earlier in this journal (Nᴼ 3), and allow myself to refer to those remarks. It is to be hoped that the Dutch translation of this highly interesting book will increase the readership to a large extent. The translation is to be considered as highly accomplished and the remarks by the translator contain many eminently readable clarifications.
