Dear Sir,
I see from the Times that you desire the correspondents of your father to send to you the letters they may have received from the late lamented Dr Darwin. I enclose you a copy of the last communication I had from him. The essay to which he refers is entitled "Sunday in Lancashire & Cheshire," and the journal whose place he commends is the Field Naturalist of which I send you by bookpost the first number. You will find marked in it two letters from Dr Darwin and a reference to a third which you would no doubt obtain from the Rev. M Geldart M. A. of Croydon.
