I willingly send you the few letters wh I have, & though I treasure them very greatly myself I fear they will not be available for a biography.

I most earnestly hope that one of you will set about a biography soon. It is very much better that it should be brought out without any great delay. I will only add that

I have no objection to any part of the letters I am sending being published if you think that they can come into a biography.
I presume you wd hardly touch [illeg] Butler incident; to wh two of the letters refer. If however any mention is made of this incident in the biography I have got some

further letters of Krause's on the subject.
