A Sept 1846.— Seedling var of Saponaria Calabrica from the same lot, as common kind — differs remarkably in habit, rather later, stems red, less hairy, much thicker, leaves far longer, almost smooth, differently shaped — with longer footstalk or basal part of leaf.— flower in all respects same. —
