Leersia = Oryza clandestina

It is clear that from Dr. P. Ascherson, Bot. Zeitung 1864 p. 350 that Leersia oryzoides on produces perfect florets & bears fruit in parts of Germany.

At p. 145— 1864 there is paper by J Waltz on the cleistogene flowers of Lamium amplexicaule. nothing particular pollen-tubes come out of anthers— (over)
