Big. Chamberlayni Var. Two plants procured from Mr V. under this name, clearly allied yet slightly different— whether vars. or species I cannot say. — Petioles long certainly move— The 2 opposite independently one rose so that t. touched upright shoot.— Internodes & t. move spontaneously.

Tendrils— lower one long & single— The next with little rudiments of 1 or 2 toes.—

I believe distinct species— Petioles not sensitive. In all respects climb like B. littoralis, except t. shorter & 3 unequal toes relatively shorter & pointed at tips & do not (I believe) form discs or outgrowths.
