Boreau Centre du France

[data not transcribed]

Omitting cultivated plants & the 4 genera, there are 1420 species of which 311 are very common = 219/1000

(This makes me put no confidence in foregoing results; it does not seem that C.C. do occur more in the larger genera.—)

1420 total species [-] 189 total species presenting vars [=] 1231 — total species not presenting vars.

233 — C.C. & not having vars /1231 total species not having vars = 189/1000

311 total species marked C.C [-] 78 species C.C. & having vars [=] 233 C.C. not having vars

78 species C.C. & having vars /189 species having vars = 412/100

[12v]

or we may say of the total 1420 species 311 are C.C. = 311/1420 = 219/1000

Whereas of the 189 species, having vars, 78 are C.C. or very common = 78/189 = 412/1000

This clearly shows that the very common species most often present varieties — or the most variable species are most common.
