p. 383 Chimpanzee when tickled, but not otherwise, has a decided laugh, chuckling sound, & eyes twinkle. When displeased utters a hoarse guttural sound & protrudes lips.
p 385. When he saw his keepers wd likewise pout his lips & utter a low sound of satisfaction.
p 404. The Orang when excited to great rage opened his mouth, displayed his teeth & bit.
