I doubt whether effect of Domestication — must be natural but rarely seen.

July 23rd.— Zoological Gardens

Saw in garden common English fox which wagged its tail & depressed its ears & threw itself on its back, precisely like dog.— The Black fox of N. America did so depressed its ears partly.—
