1— "Do let me in-"

Half croak, half mew of recognition — "How do you do"—

Growl when they are fed or have a mouse

Spit of fear, or anger

Yowl when they feel injured

Croak to baby of affection "How I do love you"

Mew to baby "I hope you are well"

Kitten spit of defiance & cocketness — Kitten inward croak, when in the highest spirits.
