(a) (with one of my own infants, from his eighth day (& I believe at a still earlier age & during the succeeding months, I continually observed that the first sign, of a coming on screaming fit when it came on rather gradually of screaming & [illeg] be observed was a little frown due to the contraction of the corrugator; the skin of the head & face [7 words illeg] as soon as the screaming began all the muscles ran to eye & [2 words illeg] open mouth was contracted in exactly the same manner as in a [sullen] older child.
