expression

The old & young elephant in Zoolog. Gardens when made to trumpet violently invariably contracted in the plainest manner the orbicular muscle, especially the lower one. The keeper said that he had several times seen tears roll down the face of the old one when vexed by the removal of the young one.— Bartlett & keeper agreed that they had never seen any feline animal hump the back like cat.
