Ap. 12/71/ George tried a few days ago several times to shudder but the platysma did not contract. This morning when standing naked, he accordingly had his hand on his neck, & he shivered; & he then perceived that his platysma slightly contracted, & it felt, as he remarked, as if his hand was on another person's body. — Afterwards he voluntary told to shiver, but cd. not [4 words illeg] act.
