Mar 1. 1871 – I made a mistake yesterday about the Macacus inornatus; when it screams it appeared to Mr B. & to myself that it contracted the orbiculars; but from rapid movements, it is almost impossible to be certain.
[in Darwin's handwriting:] B thinks M. inornatus probably correct.
