Susan laughs until she cries & then has partly blubbering face.— But tickling (common to animals) causes convulsive movement accompanied with extraordinary tendency to laughter. ─ Here it is convulsive & quite involuntary in children scarcely pleasure. ─ shivering from cold is convulsive from certain disagreeable sensation in part affected. ─ Hysteria affects the face─ teeth chattering.— so that face gives way first to convulsive movement─ When purgative medicine affect the intestines, tears start in the eyes.─ it is generally accompanied by slight shivering down the back.─
