of Catasetum. But from an account & figure published by Lindley,* it is known that Cycnoches ventricosum produces on the same scape flowers with a simple labellum, others with a much segmented labellum & others intermedial forms in structures.
From the analogous differences on the labellum of the sexes in Catasetum, we may believe that we here have see male, female & hermaphrodite forms of the Cycnoches.)
