Neapolitan double Violets – earlier, pale coloured large white centre. in the most double ones pistil converted into green & purple cabbage. stamens into pelats with orange scale generally persistent & trace of anther's cells one same part of petal – in one I found small pellet of pollen with pistil quite converted into cabbage. March/41/
