Nov. /45/ Bentham's remark that abortive Parts are variable in species & Waterhouse statement that in groups, where as in Edentata, teeth are abortive they vary in the genera, is opposed to Brown's view that they are eminently serviceable in classification

How is this in parts rudimentary & seen only in growth.
