p 111. the Campanula hybrida in one part of Germany has no petals, but is said to have them in France & ilaty [Italy] - it is seldom that the Erodium maritimum entirely wants petals, but in some situations becomes so reduced, as not to be seen without close inspection (∴ variable)

p. 118. double Snap-dragon (have observed same in double Lychnis) is more tender & feebler than single plants

p 182. Abricot alberge of Duhamel said to be always true frm seed.
