Shrewsbury July/41/ Found in retired lane on road side where perhaps there had been manure heap — one daisy plant; with marginal florets 6 or 7 deep & pinkish coloured— disc small.
Found on bank at home a plantain stalk, very thick, with head crowned with star of narrow green leaves & only a very few female florets & not one male one in the irregular & monstrous centre of star.—
