Dr. Leach gives on authority of Sir J. Banks case of web-spinning spider which cd not spin or spin most imperfectly, from having only 3 legs. (ie had lost 5 legs) which was seen carrying fly, which it had caught by hunting.—

(only temporary for it recovered legs subsequently to moult.)
