It wd seem from the Abbé Domenich (Missionary Adventures in Texas 1858 p. 311) that the honey secreting Mexican Ant is fed by others & that when the vesicle is full of honey, the Ant dies.— If this be so, the skin of abdomen takes the place of the wax cell of the Bee.—
