as I see there are certainly naked mollusca (2 spec) on Canaries Isd & as black slug on Faroe—. Sea cannot be means.— Wd a young slug or snail crawl on cold legs of birds at night. Mr Edwards says he has seen ice on feet of swimming birds & be carried thus —— P. never escape if once on feet.—
