p 399 complete absence of erratic Blocks near the Altai — no scratches observed, but I doubt whether he observed this point carefully.

C. Alces now live in about the same latitude as fossil fd. The Elephas & Rhinoceros are same as our drift animals.

According to Murchison in Ramsay's map M.S. the Boulder lines come near to Oural
