Forbes /May 20/ 46/ says that case of good-sized Mitra, (a tropical genus) in Greenland ⸮Fossil or Recent? a great anomaly — But this drift — zoological period extended as far S. as Ireland, where another species is found fossil belonging to that period, so the range is connected of genus — it in fact like Lyell's speculation on individual species, becoming extinct in intermediate districts, good analogy between specific and generic ranges.
