April 30th 47/ Falconers cold period of India is simply that India in 31° N. is hotter than it ought to be at 0° & that when Himalaya was sunk, this could not have been the case. A Goat is only evidence! of colder climate. Number of mammals in India wonderful!!! A pachyderm, well characterized in molars, with ant. part of head quite like ruminant.
