Land shells at Philippines viz curious & peculiar = not so sea shells = The former are almost all several generally characterized by an opake Epidermis, wh is transparent when wet, not observed on any other shells

at van Diemens land – Gould says there are 2 Kangas diff & one same with Aust. – Discovered about ten Rodents in Aust.
