Gray says that finds that the Porpoises from different seas, though same, turn out quite different, though often representative species: they extend far in same latitudes over longitudes - Believes corallines also distinct.

Cuming says he has seen in some collections, which he is inclined to trust some West Indian & African shells of same species: but not from coast of Brazil: it seems to me improbable. - Fasciolaria is a New Zealand genus of shells with 4 or 5 species.
