Athenaeum 1847 p. 550 Forbes Lectures on the Nat. Hist of the N. Atlantic - Northern division identical in species - Senegal & Caribbean sea few species in common - but the latter & Lusitanian only analogy with Carolinian & Bostonian - Nothing else. Prof Loven agrees independently with Forbes' view.
