Genus with few species, shows that those peculiarities which the species have in common are not so well adapted to the country inhabited, as those genera with many species; & hence they do not range so far.

Case where a species gets first introduced to a country, is quite opposed to Agassiz absurd idea of the necessity of multiple creation.
