p. 246 Cada Mosto, in discovering Cape Verd Isd. says no beast or man whatever (except pigeons, innumerable so tame as readily to be allowed to be caught) - Now monkeys & cats wild.
p. 178. Juan G. Zarco says Porto Santo was inhabited! context almost refutes this - says Madeira was not (nor I presume from other Voyages the Azores.)
