In Himalaya 2 representative shrikes - a water owzel a long tomtit - a bull-finch - a gold finch a nutcracker & jay & red-legged Partridge - clearly representatives of Europæan species - see Goulds "Century of Him. Birds" - Study his "birds of Europe" - 170 permanent English Species - compare number to other parts of Europe - These representative species ought to be compared to analogues in vegetables in Greyhounds & Hounds.
