Mr. Swale of Christchurch Canterbury New Zealand says in letter of July 13 58 "the red, white & crimson clovers are now everywhere dispersed over the immense plain, wherever the footprints of man & animals can be tracked. The native grasses are fast disappearing to make way for the clovers, lucerne & England grasses.
