snow rests in crevices all the year - plants are Juniperus excelsa F. fritillaries, violets, Fumaria rutæfolia Scilla bifolia, Draba aizoides English Achillæa umbellata Crocus viridis Anemone Appennina species of Gagea, Orithogatum, Veronica, Alyssum & Draba (Genera enumerated a little lower down the mountain)

These do not appear very decidedly Alpine, but Hooker says list far too imperfect to judge by.
