Vol V. Journal of Asiatic Soc p. 363. A fishing owl is described by Mr Hodgson— naked tarsi & cultivated talons; now my S. American owl, with fish in stomach, or crab sometimes eats crabs— sometimes catching fish crabs — habit leading to this formation of such species —
