Linn. Trans. X p. 369 Dr. Smith account of Brunonia, quotes Mr Brown as admitting that asking whether this genus does not break down the barrier between Syngenesiæ & Campanulaceæ, Dipsaceæ & Globulariae?— Mr Brown seems afterwards to have made a natural family of it.
