1 offspring gre sooty black— the black feathers being just topped with reddish. — reddish skin round eyes. — Large Bird— Much feathered feet

White Fan-tail ♂ — German Pouter ♀ very remarkably red. — no bars
two young— very little red others — piebald black & white— Most of Primaries & belly white — wing coverts chequered white rump do. tail & back & breast blackish — The black feathers sooty, tinged with reddish edges. — Feet heavily feathered. — Much blacker but some resemblance to cross of common Pouter & Fantail
14 caudals in both. — Curious case, this of Pouters. (Tail not very hereditary in Fan-tail.)
Both Killed.
