Montagu Dict. p. 140. Dr. Latham remarks that male muscovy will not

unfrequently pair with duck Hybrid cross between male muscovy & common duck produced 7 young; apparently of difft sexes. Hybrids apparently more like common than muscovy size of male much bigger than female.
