Lib. Pheasant & common fowls sometime cross in nature — Temmin. records cross between gold & hen common— never could produce second.

Jardine says in this race of birds as in corresponding one in Mammalia. ~~interbreeding very common. — bosch— boschas ducks & geese & Canary birds. — Pheasant breed seldom in confinement. —~~
