Mr Gowen tells me that he has seen Rhod. altaclarense seeding producing seedling itself at Highclere — History of this Hybrid easily known—
He is sure hybrids for Azalea coccinea & Ponticum seed & produce pollen — His Hybrids sport most he is sure; & take after male parent in flower. — scent will go with one parent —
