seems to have been good: this was observed on three plants, & for three years, but & on 3d year then this kind of sterility was he found variable this sterility & not affecting from time to time all the same & other plants, sometimes on the male side, sometimes female, sometimes both sexes the Verbascum phœniceum, though an European plant, did not grow wild in Kölreuter's immediate neighbourhood. — Verbascum phœniceum.
