Oct 25th. Saw hybrid monkey between Bonnet & Rhesius — all almost all species copulate together repeatedly & most freely — one old female Bonnet preferred copied any other male to its own — like Crinum. so much for disgust! — any other case A female hybrid was produced in cage full of Columbidæ, from Surat dove & white var. of common collared tumble — & this hybrid was impregnated by C. migratorius Triple cross. & the young hybrids are alive — get these put apart (— Hybrids of Pintail & Common Duck, brother & female have now had several seasons & each ear year have raised broods of 4 or 5.

Hybrids of Mouflon & common goat have bred inter se.
{Hybrid grandchildren Ducks (above) some more on one on pintail side, some more on other or common Duck side; Hunter is certain of this —
(Those which I saw varied very little, except in a shade of colour.
Hybrids of the Doves all alike
