"Turnbull, George Henry, 1819-80. Building contractor who resided at the Rookery, Down. Became a subscriber to the Down Coal and Clothing Club in 1854-55 until 1872. March 4th Mr Turnbulls Centradenia - examined more carefully – pistil at first bending rectangularly out, with 4 larger sepal-faces projecting on each side of pistil out of that side of flower, as in Monochætum.

The ivy small petal–faces stand straight up, at this early stage, behind the large plate-like yellow connective projections – The connective of the smaller white anthers are reduced to yellow knobs – I do not think observation of much 1st is to be trusted.
